@IronWoman yes, you should be able to. You just cannot add it as a variation.

You just knot each stripe in a different colour or even make the individual stripes multi colour. I think it would look super cool ๐Ÿ˜„

If you are unsure how to make alphas with more than 2 colours I can recommend the video on the flat alpha technique by MashaKnots.
