@saffy So what I did is I started to create a triangle end but stop halfway so that it didn’t reach a complete point. Then I continued to knot the triangle end but this time I made sure the triangle was getting fatter and not skinnier. Lastly, I started to knot a different pattern (I chose BB8) for the other side of the keychain. I did not knot the key ring into the base strings (like Masha Knots demonstrates in her keychain tutorial). I sandwiched the two sides of the keychain together between the key ring and used fabric glue to secure it together and held in place with binder clips while it dried. This is essentially a two sided keychain where one side is R2D2 and BB8. The BB8 pattern I used is #67613 and I posted a picture of it as well.
