@natalies2 it means that is where you stop using that colour string or where it enters or leaves the pattern. when you finish the pattern the strings do not actually stick out the sides like the pattern says you just cut them off close to the actual bracelet. If you are new to alphas check out Masha Knots video on flat Alphas she explains it very well. Hope this helps 😄 😛 👍
