@escobpen00 Good call- I’ll just say that misinformation and sensationalist reporting is rampant. For a good breakdown on disinformation (for this war, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and other topics) I’d really recommend Ryan McBeth on YouTube.
@isrlet is it true that they are bombing hospitals and civilian homes and children? And the children are writing their own wills? People are being attacked by dogs?
@escobpen00 No, Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad took civilian hostages on Oct 7th that are still being held in Gaza. The youngest is a literal baby and the oldest is an Iraqi born holocaust survivor (his family escaped the Farhud). The hostages are Israeli (both Jewish and Muslim) and foreign nationals (many Filipinos were taken hostage, as well as Americans). Israel has a number of Palestinians who crossed into Israeli territory and violated the law in the prison system and/or administrative detention, and people that support the terrorist groups try to pretend that this is equivalent to hostage taking :/
