I think the lines going across the pattern are the additional color on the bracelet... Since this is an multicolor alpha, your need to add new colors, and I think that is how the new color thread would look like.... I am not sure tho...

Ssooniaaa those are strings that you add they're not base strings say you use the teal as the string you use to go right and left once you get to the purple you will use the 35 string as the teal and continue using it as the the one that goes right and left then you will then trade off
