@arts_milia I think your explanation is very good 😄 my knowledge on it is also very limited. I learned about this curve in a YouTube video titled 'Doodling in Math Class: Squiggle Inception' by Vihart. @MiaKatss if you want, you can check this video out. Vihart is really good at explaining stuff like this and you don't really need to be good at math to enjoy their videos.
@MiaKatss this is a Hilbert curve, which apparently is a "continuous fractal space-filling curve" (according to Wikipedia) which, as far as I understand, means that it can continue forever, reaching every point in a certain region. This is useful for programmers and computer scientists for mapping between 1D and 2D spaces (also from the most reliable source of all, Wikipedia 😂). I'm no computer scientist though (my knowledge of math is limited to statistics) so if anyone else has a better explanation, please feel free to add! Maybe @halokiwi could help explain? 😄
