@elliebear3 That's great, I'd recommend trying to find the original artists for any art you copy over to BB and adding the credit in the pattern comments. It didn't take me very long to find the source for this one. I searched "55x55 Howl's Moving Castle Sophie Kissing" and the very first result was Maninthebook's Kandipatterns profile, in case that helps.
BB users aren't actually supposed to publish patterns/art that isn't theirs without permission, that's what the checkbox is for in the Alpha pattern creator, and it's also outlined in BB's guidelines.
It just seems really dishonest when people, including myself, compliment your patterns but you don't disclose that they're not yours. Again, I would feel terrible if someone did that with my art because I work so hard on it.
@Moogle I created this pattern based off of an image I found on Pinterest with no link so thank you for finding the original artist. I made sure to add their Kandi pattern profile link in my bio!
@xdarkfirex The original pixel art looks like it's actually by Man In The Book Creations on Facebook, also Maninthebook on Kandipatterns.
Is this your art @elliebear3? I noticed some of your other ghibli patterns were by u/Mochimountains on Reddit too. It would be courteous if you could credit the original artists if you repost their work, especially if you didn't get permission to do so. I know I would feel pretty terrible if someone posted my art somewhere else as if it was theirs.
I love this scene!! I even attempted doing a pattern of this exact frame I think 😂 but I didn’t like how his feather details turned out in my version. Yours looks great!!
