She wasn't trying to be controlling, she was just trying to give some constructive criticism for how to improve. She framed it in a kind way too. Its a good pattern, its just important to make sure it sends the message your trying to send, and she was just trying to give a solution to that.

hi! i just want to say i love this pattern and it has a beautiful message, but puzzle pieces are a bad representation of autism. it implies we gotta be solved! they were coined by AutismSpeaks that has done irreversible harm for autistics everywhere. instead try using a rainbow infinity! and saying autistic but beautiful kinda implies autistics aren’t usually beautiful. maybe put and instead of but. great job tho and thank you!!

Hi, i created this pattern as a symbol for autism, i myself am on the Asperger's spectrum which is a form of autism, and puzzle pieces are the symbol of autism and i wanted to create it in April since April is national autism & asperger's awareness & acceptance month 😉 Happy Knotting Everyone!!! 🧩💚
