I'm currently making this pattern. Just as a note - perhaps to my future self or another who wants to do this pattern - it would be much easier to extend the blue border of the background behind the flag by two more knots on either side and thus have 74 knots across (3 blue on each side of the black flag) as that would keep the edges a bit easier to keep neat and tidy.
