@halokiwi I'm currently knotting this and no, I'm not using any special technique, I do it like a regular shaped alpha. In order to avoid bunching it up, I'm adjusting my knots so they're not pulling too much thread behind the bracelet, even for the steps of four knots (when increasing). When decreasing, it's also just adjustments and trying to make it look as clean as possible. That works for me; it might not be perfect, but it's how I'm currently seeing things. Also, I don't know how much taller can the steps get before starting to look messy, but for me four works fine (still, it might be subjective). If anyone comes up with a better technique, I'm open to suggestions. |

So you are not using any special technique? You just do it like a regular shaped alpha?Do you do anything to avoid it bunching up? For example in row 33 to 34 and 34 to 35 there is a step of four knots, which I think is kind of big. How tall are the biggest steps possible with this technique before it starts looking messy? |

@halokiwi On row 12, I would do the first four knots normally, like on row 11, then one knot on the next string, and finally one knot on the last three strings. (I'm not sure this answers your question though, since I don't know if I understood it correctly, so if you need more clarifications, go ahead.) |

How would you knot the transition from row 11 to 12? I'm always confused when it comes to tall steps like that in shaped alphas.
