@tteslov1 unfortunately i have not made this specific pattern that i made but i would recommend maybe 3 to 4 meters also the amount of string that is used can vary from person to person so if you have really loose knot tension then you may require more string and vis versa hopefully this helps!
I use one skein of thread for base strings, but i'm like not even half done with the pattern and i'm realizing that my background colored string doing the knotting is getting kind of short if any one has made this can you comment how much string it took?
