i have just started learning alpha patterns, and i don’t understand what you are supposed to do with the white strings. there is no knot direction i see on them, so what do you do there? i tried doing backwards knots with them, but then i realized that it just made the white form vertically on the black string. i’m not sure if people can reply to my comment, since i have never commented before, but if anyone knows the answer to my question, i would appreciate a response if you are willing!
