@N_Silvers You definitely need to get a hummingbird feeder! I think hummingbirds are way easier to hand feed than any other type of bird, even though I've never been able to do it they get really close and don't seem as scared of people. I think you need a lot of patience but I'm not very good at that so I just watch them through the window 😊

@goldflower Oh I absolutely love the hummingbirds too! I don't see them much around my house though. But I don't have a feeder for them either lol! I'm gonna have to get one! I've never been able to earn enough trust with any of the birds to hand feed them, although I've tried! Any tips for that?

@N_Silvers That makes me so happy! I love that you feed the birds. I think my favorites are chickadees and hummingbirds.I've tried to feed hummingbirds by hand but I always get startled by how fast they appear and scare them away

I love this! I started feeding the birds around my house at the beginning of the summer and I've fed them every day since! I love my birds! In the summer the blue jays would come and run off all the other birds lol but I didn't mind because blue jays are my favorite(other than hummingbirds!). They are so beautiful! But they never stayed long. The sparrows are pretty comfortable with me, so they get really close to me. As soon as I walk out the door, they flock and sit lined up along the gutter on my roof and wait for me to feed them! It's so cool to watch them and get to be so close to them. They won't let me touch them of course, but in the summer once the babies could fly, they brought their babies and would feed them in my yard right next to the porch! I always thought bird watching was boring, or for old people lol, but I enjoy the birds so much! It's so rewarding to feed them and watch their babies grow up! 😍
