Recently, I watched a video tutorial by @Margaron where she knots dangerously by combining an Alpha with a Normal pattern 🤯I was sooo inspired that I made my first ever Alpha and combined it with one of the official April Week 2 Normal patterns #12509 ➕ #6965 I enjoyed the challenge so much, the thread counting, planning how to center the Alpha section, where to stop and restart the Normal pattern, modifying some of the knots to improve the project's overall look... that I wanted to share the idea. That and because I like looking at photos of bracelets by other Bracelet Bookers 😋 If you'd like to join me in this challenge, post the numbers of the Alpha and Normal pairs that you're thinking about combining 👍I'll be doing the same. PS: Something worth mentioning is that the finished product might only count towards one of the patterns, the other one may get declined 😔 I'm waiting for a response on this but I'll keep you updated. |

Hi @Alisoon, the patterns you chose are absolutely gorgeous! The colors go perfectly well together, if you're keeping the same palette. I've added the Normal pattern to my to-do list too. I can't wait to see a photo of your bracelet 🙂

I like those 2 patterns @KE. The Normal pattern is too thin for that Alpha though, unless you're planning to trim out the edges and keep the eyes and the smile perhaps? I'd love to see what you come up with 😊

@AwesomeGrl Switching to Alpha and back to Normal is the challenge 🙂 There's no deadline. I like your selection by the way I have a similar Normal pattern in my to do's #30869. I'm starting to think it would look perfect with a bee for the Alpha portion 😍

Yes its a nice pattern. I want to make the dots green for my brother and then change the color of the ghost to green for him. I would also like it mire w/ the bee pattern tho

All good @AwesomeGrl you can choose any patterns you like so you're allowed to change your mind 😜 I have a lot of butterfly patterns in my to-do list too! 🦋 I'm leaning towards making the swallowtail, just coz I like the way swallowtails look 🤔 I still need to find a Normal pattern to go with it..
