Thank you very much for joining me these next two weeks ๐๐ I'm very excited to be hosting this Official Bi-Weekly Challenge! ๐ฅณ ๐ ๐ Whether this your first official challenge, fifth, or fifteenth - Welcome! To receive your rewards, please follow the quick steps below! ๐ธ Take a picture of your *completed* item, (bracelet, keychain, bookmark, item, etc). (Completed = finished ends). ๐ฟ Include the word "Challenge" in your photo somewhere (but try not to make it too big or distracting ~ the focus should be on your creation!) ๐ธ Upload your photo to the correct pattern. For each completed item you make, you'll get a reward! ~ example; if you make ten items, you'll get ten rewards. Rewards are a collection of points next to your avatar on your profile! You'll receive each reward as each photo gets accepted. You can use any color combinations your heart desires! I encourage everyone to try out different color variations ๐ You might find that you like something even more with your own colors! You can also add or subtract colors, or make a regular pattern into a shaped one (or vice versa), depending on how the pattern is designed. You can even extend or crop your creation based on whether you want it to be a bracelet or a keychain. For example, an alpha designed as a keychain can be repeated until it's the size of a bracelet, and vice versa. Whatever it is you choose will surely be fun and challenging for you to make! Remember: Tikilishi's Official Challenges are mystery challenges! Meaning you must select each pattern to view the string amounts, number of rows, etc. And now, here are the patterns for this challenge! (What could they be? Select each number to see!) Alpha Patterns: #73749 #186043 #186363 #187537 #175420 Normal Patterns: #168854 #129550 #169097 #167673 #187312 #124110 **This challenge ends on the evening of Sunday, April 27th** Feel free to start a discussion or to ask me any questions related to this challenge here. Literally everything and anything about this challenge can be discussed in these replies ๐ technique, color decision making, questions, anything ๐ It's always such a joy for me when people participate in these challenges. I really can't wait to see everything you make! ๐ Thank you to everyone who chooses to participate, and thank you for making BraceletBook a fun place to be! Happy tying! and Happy Spring! Sincerely, @Tikilishi, and of course ,the admins and the moderator team!

Also everyone, this time, please be on the lookout for some alternative knot structures for a couple of these patterns. I'll include those in a few hours. The link to alternative knot structures is always located in my profile bio.Have fun, everyone! ๐ธโ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ธ |

Occasionally, I'll make another version of a pattern that has slightly different knot tying instructions. When I do, they're located at the link that's always in my bio (new ones appear at the bottom). This time, I've made some different versions of the two shaped normal patterns in this challenge, incase people would like to tie them as regular normals rather than as shaped patterns, as that may be a bit easier to tie for the challenge. I ran out of time this morning, but as soon as I put them up, I'll tag you again! ๐ @str6yk1ds

I'm really glad you asked! @panda4eva2 What you can do is group some of the outer strings (the ones on the sides that don't have any knot instructions) by alternating between one forward knot and one backward knot to make little outer "chains' like a couple of the photos show ๐ Kind of like how you might begin a bracelet by making a loop, but instead of grouping the beginning strings, you can group the outer ones together, then rejoin them once the pattern calls for them to come back into the bracelet ๐(Hopefully I explained that well, but I may not have!) Watching one of the videos under pattern #8454 could help explain what I mean, except to make the "spiral" part stay straightened, you'd alternate between one knot the video shows, then another mirrored knot (like an f then a b, f then b, etc)Orrr you can tie the pattern as a regular normal pattern, which I'm going to detail how to do with an alternate knot structure in about an hour or so. ๐ I was so busy this morning I didn't get a chance to share them yet ๐ , but I'll tag you when they're up! |

Click the link and scroll towards the bottom ~ they should be there! https://postimg.cc/gallery/C5f5GhG Be sure to tap on the images once or twice to see them in their full size and resolution! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I made extra versions of these patterns incase people would rather tie the shaped normals as regular non-shaped normals instead ๐ Once tied, they can be uploaded to their respective patterns as usual. If you're planning to tie the shaped patterns as they're intended, that's great! Then you can disregard this message ๐ (or if you're tying other patterns in this official challenge!) ๐ธโ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ธโ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ธโ๐ฟโ๐ฟโ๐ธ โ โ โ โ โ โ (tagging you like I promised! @str6yk1ds and @panda4eva2! ๐) |
