@LauraLou64 it's probably too late now since the challenge does end tomorrow night, but basically you would do backward forward and forward backward knots with your leading thread over the 5 base strings, then knot the flower just like a regular alpha pattern and then do the forward backward and backward forward knots over the 5 base strings again until the end.
