Hello! I love making geometric normal bracelets but don't often have the opportunity to enter them in challenges, so I thought it would be nice to make one 😁 I mainly had normals in mind but if it's in the spirit of the theme, why not alphas. Only knotted creations please 😊I'm making this a tournament with 3 qualifying rounds for everyone, and one final round for the ones with the best score ! Each round is inspired by a shape. Here are the themes for the rounds (the patterns linked are just examples) : 🔺🔶 Round 1 Diamond/triangle/chevron like #44774 #71535 〽️🔀 Round 2 Line/braid/twisted like #26328 #174131 ✉️ Round 3 Rectangle (not a square diamond) like #30627 or rectangle or square parallel to the bracelet like #30348 #98286 🏆 Final Geometric freestyle, any pattern that is geometric in nature Each round will be around 10 days long, except the first being 2 weeks to give more time for sign ups. I feel like it should be enough 🙂 SCORING : - Difficulty (size, types of knots...) /6 - Neatness (shape, even knots...) /6 - Prettiness (colors, overall design, ends...) /6 - Photo (quality, name of challenge in pic) /2 - Respect of the deadline -1 per day Final grade for each round /20 (it's just for me) You can also get 3-5 bonus points if your creation is not a bracelet, keychain, wall hanging or bookmark, to reward originality 🙂 DEADLINE for signing up and making the creation for round 1 is September 1st ! Please comment what pattern you want to do for round 1 to sign up ! I'll be making new threads for the other rounds 🙂 |
