For normals, you're supposed to follow one pattern. right? Not usually mesh together 7 or 8. NOT HERE. Some normals are made to go with other normals, such as #116844 and #116845, and you can totally do that here. Can you be more abstract, though? Your challenge is to find as many normals as you can that have the same string structure at some point in the pattern and combine them. For example, you could do a flower pattern that turns into a candy stripe that turns into a shaped bracelet that turns into hearts (just an idea). Choose as many normal patterns that you can and try to tie them all into one bracelet length normal. Tips on winning: 1. Tie a recognizable amount of the bracelet! One stripe or arrow or row of knots is not going to count much towards how I score you. For best results and maximum recognizability, I suggest tying at least one set of the pattern (like all the rows at least once), or until the same string structure is repeated somewhere else in the pattern for patterns with longer rows. DON'T JUST DO A SINGLE CANDY STRIPE AND SAY THAT'S AN EXTRA PATTERN! 2. The more patterns you're able to get in and still have recognizable, the better! 3. For photo submission, I suggest cropping the photo to the segment you tied so that you're able to post on as many patterns as you can since you tied them all. However, PLEASE POST THE WHOLE BRACELET PIC SOMEWHERE! 4. 1212s, chains, and alphabet patterns are probably the easiest to put together if you can't find anything that works. It's also good to find users who post patterns with similar structures. However, the more random the related structure is, the more interested I'll be! Notes and rules for all: TIED NORMALS ONLY! It would be pointless to include alphas! You don't have to include the name in the photo Please tell me your list of patterns once the photo(s) are up, not right when you join I will not give huge extensions since this challenge is only a week. If you don't have time to tie it this week, dw bc I'll probably host something similar again. If anyone needs an extension, I'll probably give 2 or 3 days tops. Not me trying to rush you or be mean, just me having a busy schedule and not having as much time to judge on certain days rewards: 1st- 5 stars on 25 patterns (i'll try to help out the lowest rated ones for all the ratings i give for all places), friend request, free pfp design if you want (if you don't want it, 2nd gets it, if 2nd doesn't want it, 3rd gets it and it stops there) 2nd- 5 stars on 18 patterns, friend request 3rd- 5 stars on 15 patterns, friend request Please have photos submitted by July 31, 11:59 pm! |
