Hi everyone! I hope you had a great Easter so far if you celebrate. 😊Anyways, this challenge is a great opportunity for you to expand your bookmark collection! To participate, you simply have to choose a pattern and make it into a bookmark. For those of you who may not know, there is a specific method you use to make bookmarks, called a bookmark start. If you need a tutorial video, I'll see if I can link it, but I believe there's a good one on youtube by Kinsey B. ~~~ ♥Criteria♥ I'll be judging your bookmarks by: Neatness (straight edges, beginnings/endings) 5/15 Color Scheme 3/15 Challenge name in photo (it's very useful, actually) 3/15 Using a book as a prop in your photo/Photo Quality 4/15 ♥Bonus Points♥ Bonus points are completely optional, but will be awarded if: ~Your bookmark relates to spring (+2 pts) OR ~Your pattern depicts a book fandom somehow (characters, names, logos, etc.) (+2 pts) ~~~ ♥Prizes♥ 🥇~ Shoutout in bio, rate 10 of your patterns 5 stars, love 5 patterns 🥈~ Shoutout in bio, rate 7 of your patterns 5 stars, love 3 patterns 🥉~ Shoutout in bio, rate 3 of your patterns 5 stars, love 1 pattern ~~~ ♥Submission Deadline♥ Submissions will be due evening of Friday, April 26th Winners will be posted April 27th ❤️Happy Knotting!❤️ |

couple of questions:1) does it have to be started with a bookmark start 2) if the bookmark checks both bonus points criteria, will we get 4 extra points? |

@ningc981) I don't require you to use a bookmark start, but I don't know of any other beginnings/endings that are bookmark-specific. If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them! 2) If you somehow manage to combine the two bonus prompts, I think that deserves the full 4 points. |

@ningc98Yeah, I guess I was too strict on the bookmark start idea The starts and ends don't really matter as long as it's used (at least in the picture) as a bookmark |
