Hi everyone!! Welcome to The Bracelet Olympiad!This idea is inspired by some Olympiads that happen in my country every year for math, biology and many other school subjects! If you're curious about these Olympiads feel free to PM me (though I doubt someone will want to know😂) There are 4 rounds in total! The first round is to make something easy (like classic patterns) and if you advance in rounds, it's getting harder and harder! In the last round, there will be only 3-4 people who will have to make some more difficult patterns (e.g. a thick bracelet or even a wallhanging!) 🌟⚡️💥🔥 Anyways, here are THE RULES: 🌟⚡️💥🔥 1. If you want to join, just comment down bellow! This challenge is open to everyone, the goal with this is to improve our bracelet skills and have fun! 😉 2. When will we have 10-20 people (I will close the sign-ups in a week or so because I doubt so many people will join) the challenge will officially start! When I will post the first round I will give you some examples of patterns you can do! 3. When you decided on a pattern, let me know here! 4. Make your creation 5. Post a photo of your **finished** creation and please put the challenge name in it, but if you can't or you forgot is totally fine! 6. Let me know when the picture gets accepted! 7. You can also do multiple entries, if you want! 🌟⚡️💥🔥More info for future rounds: 🌟⚡️💥🔥 As I said, for the first round the theme will be the easiest category of bracelets (classics), but maybe you're wondering what's the theme for the 2nd round? The theme will be intermediary patterns (like normal patterns and easy-ish alphas). Then, for the 3rd round we will have alphas (any alpha patterns) and for the 4th round (which I think that will be the final round, we will have a 🎉new 🎉 technique that you didn't try it until then! (e.g. wallhangings, chopstick folders, bookmarks, alpha+normal technique and so many more!!) Andddd (almost forgot to say) in each round you will have 2-4 weeks to complete your creation, depends on the round, for example, at the 1st round I will give less time (2 weeks) because is a easier creation to make but on the last round I will definitely give you more time to complete your creation. 😊 I can also give 2 max. 4 days extensions if needed! I will also eliminate 2-5 people each round, depending on how many people will join! 🌟⚡️💥🔥 JUDGING CRITERIA: 🌟⚡️💥🔥 Straight-edges -- 10 points Overall neatness -- 10 points Starts and endings -- 10 points Knot tension -- 10 points Colors -- 10 points Creativity (own color combos, special ends and just creativity in general) -- 10 points Photo background -- 10 points Photo lighting -- 10 points Photo creativity -- 10 points Pattern fits the theme -- 10 points Total number of points you can earn -- 100 points **NOTE: I will judge your creations every round, but I will give prizes and announce winners when the FINAL round ends.** 🌟⚡️💥🔥 PRIZES: 🌟⚡️💥🔥 🎉 🎉 🎉 1st place: Rate all of your patterns 5 stars, nice comments on all of your patterns (unless you have more than 50 I'll rate and post comments on 50 of your patterns) I'll make 3 of your patterns and post pictures, shout-out in my bio! 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉 🎉2nd place: Rate 15 of your patterns 5 stars, nice comments on 15 of your patterns as well, I'll make 2 of your patterns and post pictures and shout-out in my bio! 🎉 🎉 🎉3rd place: Rate 10 of your patterns 5 stars, nice comments on 10 of your patterns as well, I'll make 1 of your patterns and post a picture and shout-out in my bio! 🎉 **NOTE only the people advancing and winning the 4th round will earn prizes!!** Wow, that's A LOT of stuff! 😂 If I've forgot something, please let me know and if you have question feel free to ask here or PM me! 🌟⚡️💥🔥Thanks for reading, and Happy Knotting! 🌟⚡️💥🔥 |
