I think I may change my pattern one more time before I start, just FYI! My grandma used to be a seamstress but she only knits now so she's giving me a ton of thread next weekend, so I'm going to wait until I have a few more colors to pick between. But I haven't forgotten! 🐜🐜

I'd love to participate! I'll pick a pattern in a bit, I just wanted to quickly give a tip for dealing with tangles. Waxing your thread can do WONDERS when handling it. It does change the texture of it, and might be a bit strange to wear, but for this application I think it's worth it. Any kind of wax works for this purpose, including candle wax. Hold the thread between the wax and your thumb and pull it against the wax. Repeat if it feels needed. You might feel that you need to reapply some wax while you work, that's pretty normal for such a fiddly craft. Good luck in the challenge, everyone!

Would it be okay if I double up the strings in my submission? I've done a few practice rows and I like the way that looks a lot more, it almost reminds me of beads.
