Do you love big patterns, but sometimes they just aren't big enough? Maybe there is a project that you want to do, but the pattern is too small for what you need. Or you just love chunky bracelets. This is the challenge for you.Rules: - Pick any pattern at least 20 strings -Use really thick string or yarn, or double up (or more) your strings to make it -Post it with the words "Make it Mega" along with something to measure it with (local currency or a ruler across the width it) or on your wrist -Challenge ends 31 August 2023 Prizes: -1st place: I will make one (1) of your normal patterns in the mega style and put your name in my bio for three months. -2nd place: I will put your name in my bio for two months. -3rd place: I will put your name in my bio for one month. Note 1: Doubling up string means using two pieces of string as one when knotting. For example, if you had a pattern that was 30 strings wide, you would either cut 30 strings that are double the length you would normally use and fold them in half to have double the thickness, or you would cut 60 strings, and use them in groupings of two to knot with. You can do more than double the string thickness if you want. Note 2: If the 1st place winner does not have any normal patterns made, I will make a normal pattern in their variations. If there are no variations, then I will make a normal pattern from their to-dos. Happy knotting! |

Hi @Traveler ! Can I make #151146 for this? Tbh I'm interested in this challenge because I've never made a chunky bracelet and it gives me motivation to try it. 😜One other question, too--does it need to be 20+ strings AND thick or doubled-up string? Or just one of those? Thanks! |
