The new season of "The Summer I Turned Pretty" will be coming out soon. It's the perfect time to make your Belly bracelets!Let us honor the original designer of Belly's bracelet, @ondinaevan, by making our Belly bracelets and posting the photos to pattern #27126. @ondinaevan lost out on having her pattern made because we couldn't find it the first time around. This time, let's make Belly's real bracelet and give @ondinaevan the credit she deserves. The reward is giving the original creator her due, and having a Belly bracelet we can wear all summer and beyond. The deadline is September 23, 2023, the end of summer. Please only use pattern #27126. Happy knotting! |

@Jasmijn3 In the show adaptation of the book "The Summer I Turned Pretty" the main character Belly Conklin wears a bunch of bracelets, one of them a friendship bracelet made from pattern #27126. After the show came out everyone was searching for the pattern for the bracelet and couldn't find it. Someone asked me to make a pattern for it and I did after I couldn't find the pattern either. So my pattern is the one everyone finds and follows because you can search for it in the tags. #27126 is the real pattern the show bracelet is based on.To join, just make a bracelet from that pattern and post a photo with the words "the summer i turned pretty challenge" on it. This challenge is for raising awareness of the original pattern and its creator, so there are no prizes. Thanks for participating and happy knotting! |
