Hello guys, gals, and non-binary pals!For this challenge make a bracelet( keychain, bag, etc.) of a pride pattern or a pattern with pride colors. You can do the standard rainbow or another more specific flag. Please let me know what flag it is if it’s name is not the the keywords. Crafter83 I m dying to go to a PRIDE event too. Used to live on Long Island but now I live in the darn middle of nowhere in Tennessee. But... I was hoping for a pride challenge. Ty Happy PRIDE! 🌈❤✌

@J3ssica That’s rough. I live a hour from a major city so it’s easy enough; my family would not support and I have no one to go with. You’re welcome, I wanted to have at least one challenge option this month

@crafter83 where do you live? If u do not mind me asking. I'm from Long Island NY. I live in the darn middle of nowhere in Tennessee. Lol my neighbors are all older couples aside from one couple my husband and I age with a young daughter. It's their family land i m actually surrounded by. My BFS aunt has land too. It's gorgeous here but I'm lonely. Cows everywhere too. Lol n no clue how my community feels about the lgbtq community. But.. My FAVORITE people I've met work at the head shops. one is a young open and proud man named Josh. I have anxiety and I actually not fond of having to go out lol but... I make it a point to try n c him when I can. Ill treat myself to a vape. His best friend is a young lady that is also lgbtq. GREAT girl. Sick though n I have not seen or heard anything about her condition. I've met 2 trans people too n other open lgbtq. So... There must be a community of some kind. The younger generation though is probably going to be way more accepting than their grandma and papi. Everyone here goes to church too. So... I dunno. Everyone I meet though... Young n old black or white gay or straight men n women.... Pretty much everyone very polite and friendly n want to lend a hand. We had a tornado come through in march 2020 came together like a community. It was 😭💔 19 lost their lives n countless others lost homes n businesses. But the way the community came together was beautiful. I've always dreamed of going to a pride event with my uncle n his husband though. Lol they have been on n off my whole life n have been on again for the last decade. FINALLY tied the knot couple yrs ago. N yeah... I can TALK lol it must be the Sicilian in me. Lol

I can't believe I didn't think to mention what pattern I chose. #144443 my mom loves 44 N just beat stage 3 breast cancer so.... Maybe... It will turn out nice. 🌈 happy pride

@J3ssica Nice pattern. So happy for your mom! I live in NorthEast United Sates. The people here against it are vocal about it, so that’s a good sign they haven’t said anything. I also have an uncle who is gay, but unfortunately has made poor choices and so I don’t talk to him. I’m so sorry for your loss

@crafter83 where in the North East Us u live? I'm from New York!!! N TONS of my friends decided that they were bi after I came out. Lol for most of them, it was a phase or a way to garner attention. I'm still trying to figure out my sexuality at 38. All these new terms make it easier and harder at the same time. I usually just identify as Pan cause, it's the easiest to go with n I'm attracted to all genders. But the type of attraction I normally feel is DIFFERENT . N ty for the kind words about my mom. Today is actually National Cancer Survivors Day n I'm making an awareness ribbon keychain. Cancer unfortunately runs in my family.
