👋🏻 First challenge for me, so hopefully I do this right. I've been doing a couple of the challenges lately, and they've been so much fun, and now I'm inspired to try hosting one myself!I thought it would be cool to do a challenge that also had a design element involved. Here's the details... 1. Lmk if you want to join 2. Design your own pattern 3. Once your pattern gets accepted lmk the pattern number 4. Make your pattern and get your photo accepted 5. Deadline for everything is March 31st (I can give you a little more time if needed) 6. No deadline for sign ups, you'd just have less time to get everything completed 7. I'll be judging based on your pattern detail and difficulty, color choices, neatness of knots. I'll give bonus points if you have a summer-y theme or colors (I'm buried in snow here, bleh!🥶) 8. Can be alphas or normals, no string limit Prizes are: 🥇 I'll make your pattern too, plus one other of your patterns (your choice) and post/promo/shout out both designs on my IG and Pinterest (I don't have a huge following yet, but it's still fun 😊) and I'll like and comment on up to 30 of your patterns 🥈 I'll make your new pattern and post/promo/shout out on my IG and Pinterest, and I'll like and comment on up to 15 of your patterns 🥉 I'll like and comment on up to 10 of your patterns PS ... I'm not super great at alphas yet (still in the leaning phase) so if you choose alphas and win it will probably take me longer to make your pattern and it might not be as good. @halokiwi I actually hadn't thought about that. My original thought was for brand new patterns (I need some inspiration to finalize my first one - indecision is killing me 😂). But I really don't mind if they are older ones that you've designed. Maybe I'll just give a little bit of preference to brand new patterns 😉.

I think I'd like to join with pattern #144166. I posted that pattern yesterday, not sure, if before or after I saw this challenge, but I think it would be perfect for some summery colours 🌻🌞

I'm waiting for one of my springtime patterns to be approved, and I think doing one part of it as a key chain or such (it's a design with multiple variations of one thing) would be good practice for a beginner alpha knotter! I'll reply with the number once it's accepted 😄 😄 😄

My pattern was posted as #144284, I'll be doing the whole thing (I'm dying to try out a variegated background!) but you can just pick one butterfly you like if it's too much of a commitment ❤️
