This is a challenge where every participant will makea pattern of another participant. It's a bit like Secret Santa: When the challenge starts, I will draw lots for every participant, so everyone will make one pattern of someone else in the challenge and everyone will have one of their patterns made by someone else in the challenge. Every participant should have at least one of the following: - a normal pattern with 20 or less strings (dimensions 10x... or less) - an alpha pattern with less than 1500 knots in total (e.g. dimensions 17x72 would be 1224 knots in total) When you have been assigned a user of whom you should make a pattern, you can choose whichever one of theirs you want to make - it can be bigger than the dimensions given above if you think you can handle it. I just want everyone to have the option to choose something more beginner-friendly, so everyone can participate. That's it! There's no prizes and no winners. Anyone interested? I would like to participate too, if it's not too irregular to enter your own challenges. 🙂 |

Let's say the application deadline is 20.02. (20th of Feb for the Americans 😉 )On the 21st I'll draw lots and tell everyone whose pattern they gotta make. And then the deadline to make the bracelet / keychain / whatever everyone chooses to make, will be 26.03. (26th of March). |

@sage-wolf Welcome and thank you for joining!!I do like your suggestion! I have the hopes that people will gravitate towards the patterns that are not vastly popular already but I also don't want to restrict choices too much. I will say that I will leave a comment on every pattern that has been chosen for this challenge, and if someone chooses a pattern without photos, I will rate & comment on 3 more patterns they themselves have! It's not a great prize, but it's the best I can come up with, right now. 🤔 |

Hi and welcome @SmileSnake and @awesome31 !I'm happy to have you both join as well! awesome31, if it's okay for you that nobody is gonna make a pattern of yours, then of course you can join, too! Then somebody will get a fun surprise and have two patterns of theirs made by a different person each. 🙂 (Meaning I will draw a lot for you, tell you whose patterns you can choose from, and put their lot back into the bowl, just so everyone gets at least one other person.) |
