Hello everyone 😃This will be the first ever challenge I will be hosting. There's already so many challenge formats, I always said that I would ONLY start hosting challenges, if I had a good idea for a new format. And here it is: Since it's all new, please read through the rules carefully to make sure we can keep this a SURPRISE for the secret user: I have chosen a fellow user who I think is contributing a lot to this site with its patterns, and deserves a big THANK YOU! It will not be one of the current supermoderators, the maximum rank in this format is going to be from Beginner to Bracelet King. We as a community then try to SURPRISE our dear fellow user by knotting as many of his/her patterns as possible and put a smile on his/her face. 🙂 😎 😍 ❤️ FEEL FREE TO JOIN WHEN: you are willing to invest time and knot the bracelet with dedication and passion to honour the user's work that he or she has put into designing it's patterns. So far about the concept. Now since this needs to stay a SECRET, to show interest in joining and upload notice has to be done BY PRIVATE MESSAGES you write to me via this site. I will then answer to you and reveal the name of the secret user to you. On the MAIN PATTERN PAGE, you can then filter the patterns with the feature "ADDED BY USER XYZ" to find the patterns of the secret user. ❤️ ALPHAS / NORMALS / SHAPED patterns are all allowed. ❤️ colours are your free choice ❤️ it doesn't matter if there already exists a photo / video / tutorial on your favourite pattern. ❤️ I will judge based on: 😍 neatness of beginnings and endings (YOUR ARTWORK MUST BE FINISHED!) 😍 neatness and consistency of the knotting itself ❤️ PLEASE NOTICE: since I want to judge in a fair way, your creation needs to be of a decent length for me to have enough surface to judge based on. Therefor, I will only judge BRACELETS / BELTS and WALLHANGINGS with at least 6 repetitions of the pattern. Earrings or keychains / patches will NOT count, since they usually finished within less repetitions. Once your photo has been uploaded, write me a PRIVATE message on this site again! In case I forgot something important for running the challenge which is of importance to all participants, you can of course use the feed to ask me. Ideally, the feed of this challenge underneath this instruction is going to stay EMPTY until I reveal the winner and tag the secret user. DONT TAG THE SECRET USER ANYWHERE AND KEEP ITS NAME SECRET! 😎 The challenge ends on midnight of October 9th, 2022 , and I will announce the lucky winners on my birthday, October 11th to share my happy mood on that day and surprise the user. 🎉 🎉 🎉 Now to prizes: The 3 winners are allowed to choose any NORMAL bracelet (of any user) that I will knot for him / her. Can be of quite any colour, I got access to about 100 different colours from Anchor and DMC. You can notice me when you have recieved your bracelet and I will upload a photo of it only then, so you will be the first to see it in person! 1st place: -35 strings 2nd place: -25 strings 3rd place: -15 strings 🎉 IF this format is to be a success, I would let the winner of this challenge decide who the next secret user will be. It mustn's be the winner itself, of course. To ensure that the format is being continued, I recommend the winner to get help from the supermoderators with choosing the next secret user. They are the ones who accept things and therefor have the best overview about who could be a suitable candidate I am going to tag some of the supermoderators known to me, so that they know as well, that we solemnly swear that we are up to something good!! @halokiwi / @KrazyKnotz / @ Racoon (Masha Knots) Thank you very much for joining and be part of something (hopefully) big, adventureous and kind!!
