Welcome to round 2 of the Great BraceletBook Knot off. This round is the technical make, which means that you are all required to make the same pattern. The pattern I chose for this round is the starburst! I understand that not everyone will be able to make the original since it is pretty big, so I have allowed variations. Allowed patterns include, but are not limited to; #25054, #32405, #32406, #34559, #59194, and #34526. Keep in mind that although variations of the original are allowed, I may consider the size of your bracelet when determining the winner. Especially because in this round, you need to differentiate yourselves from your competitors since you’re all making the same pattern. This could mean starting/ending your bracelet in a unique way or using an innovative color combo. If you have any questions about allowed patterns or anything else, please let me know. The deadline for this round is June 14. Unfortunately, I have to eliminate @ELKARS, @Jewelknots, @Gymnast_8, @23adams, @LeoCreate, @peachyluvs, and @amwatson because your photos could not get accepted in time. Ok so I am still deciding between #32406 and #59194. I don’t know if I have enough string of the brand I am thinking of using for the bigger starburst so we will see

Oh and I forgot to mention that existing photos will no longer be allowed as entries. The only exception is if the photo was accepted after this round was posted and you just forgot to let me know which pattern you were doing

@oceanknot I think I'll make #34559 or #25054, depending on how much string I have! But I have a question: I'm going camping from June 15th - July 2nd, so I won't have any electronics, so I won't be able to see the last round of the challenge... Is there any chance you could tell me now what it's going to be, so I can hopefully finish that creation and the starburst before I leave? If not, that's fine, I'll just have to drop out after this round.

@SusuKnots the final round is the showstopper make. This is directly quoted from the signups, “you’ll be expected to showcase your talent as a bracelet maker. For this round, I would suggest trying a fancy technique, making a wall hanging, a giant normal, just surprise me.” I’m not sure how much time I’ll give people for this round, so you may or may not be here while it’s still running. Maybe 3 weeks, so it’s possible you’ll be back before I announce the winners

@SusuKnots also if you feel like it’s too much to finish that and the starburst, I would suggest making a smaller version of the starburst, but it’s really up to you. I did say that I was going to consider size when deciding the winner, but I always eliminate those who didn’t participate first, so you never know

@oceanknot sorry for all the questions, but I was wondering if it has to be a bracelet? Like could it be a keychain, bookmark or something? To make it unique I was thinking of making it a cape for my hamster 😂 would that work?
