Hi and welcome to the auditions for help I’m a bracelet maker get me out of here. I have based this challenge off the tv series help I’m a celebrity get me out of here. If your not familiar with this series then basically what happens is 10 celebrities get sent off typically to the Australian jungle (however last year it changed due to Covid) and have to complete a series of trials to win meals for there camp (other team mates). These trials are horrible! They have to eat gross things, try and escape enclosed spaces and so much more horrible stuff!! There’s more to it but this is the part I’m going to base this bracelet challenge off of. Every month (starting February 1st) there will be a more unpopular bracelet (e.g a 1,2,1,2 pattern) that you will need to make. This will give you a chance to strengthen your skills as a bracelet maker and become more advanced in the areas of bracelet making that you aren’t as familiar with. But how do I know you don’t like the bracelets I pick out for you to make? Well this is what you need to include in your audition you need to choose either a particular pattern or a type of bracelet that you don’t like making at all. I will then pick from the list a pattern or type of bracelet that you will need to make for that month. I will go in popularity order for example if loads of people say they struggle with alphas and only a few people say they struggle with normal patterns I am more likely to set alpha bracelets. I am also more likely to pick a bracelet type rather than 1 specific pattern as people can have more creativity with the theme and fit it to what suits them best. When you enter these challenges I would like it so you can enter with 2 pictures one as your ‘first try’ and one as your ‘best’ so I can see how much you have improved in making that pattern or bracelet. If the theme is more creative for example alphas then the pattern doesn’t have to be the same so it could be an old photo that you already have up and you can submit that as your first try. Then as your ‘best’ I would like it to be one that you made recently or specifically for this challenge Just so you know when I picking the winner of these challenges every month I am not looking for the best made bracelet or the one that looks the best I am looking for one with the most improvement and one that I think looks significantly better than it did before Just to be clear to enter the challenge you just need to say below your least favourite bracelet type and to tell you that your in I will then tag you in a separate forum comment so that you know you have been selected. There can be any number of people in this challenge and auditions shut January 30th 2021 If you have any questions just put it in the chat and I will answer you ASAP however I’m from England so the time difference might be a bit funny but I am in lockdown therefore staying up quite late!
