@Aebegayle it actually only has 3 strings it’s not exactly like hat alpha if you look it the photos what you do is have 3 strings one being the base and then take the string from the right and do a backward forward knot then take the left string and do a forward backward knot and then alternate. It actually is 3 strings the pattern itself can’t be written as 3 strings but if you look at the photos it is

You can do #3982. That's the pattern written as a normal pattern. @2006_Mandy@Aebegayle I think alphas with three basestrings should be allowed. When @NessaMae asked if they were allowed you initially said yes but then said no when she suggested a alpha pattern with 3 basestrings. Most people interpret alphas with three basestrings as three string patterns. |
