My best friend wants me to make her a shaped bracelet but with different colours in each circle and I wonder if that’s possible. I don’t think so but I’m not completely sure.

I’m not sure if it’s possible. I looked it up and couldn’t find anything. My only thought is that once you do a circle you could switch all the strings like you would with a alpha. 🤷🏻♀️ hope this helped a bit

if you make a circle bracelet, which is just a shaped diamond bracelet, you can change the order of colors when you start a new diamond in it. for example, if i were doing a gradient diamond, i could do one diamond with a gradient going from darkest to lightest and then the next diamond with a gradient going from lightest to darkest. you can do this with any other shaped bracelet as well. so once you close off a diamond with a triangle end, when you open up a new one with a triangle start, you can have a different color order. if you are talking about what masha knots recently did a tutorial on where she switched out colors and incorporated new ones, you can still do that with shaped bracelets. i haven’t tried it but i’m sure it’s possible. hope that helps! 🙂

I'm not the best at explaining what I'm thinking, but I'm going to try my best. You could start out the shaped bracelet normally, but instead of using the strings from the triangle ends to make knots, you could use those strings as base strings and knot onto them like an alpha. So if you had six strings coming off your triangle end on the right and six on the left, then you'd make two knots onto the top two strings with your background string, and the next row four, then six, and back down to four and two. Then you'd finish that section off with triangle ends and start the new triangle for the next sections and you could choose a new color for it. Hopefully that sort of made sense. If you need me to explain something better I will! 🙂 |
