How do you become a moderator?

Like, after bracelet king, do you automatically rank up to moderaator, or do you have a choice of staying a king(or queen) ? I personally would prefer to stay a king… if I can get there.

Moderators are chosen by the admin, it is not an option however if you are given the opportunity you don't have to take it. To be a mod: you have to add value to the community like patterns, YouTube videos, be active and helpful in the forum; at least 17; and have to have enough free time. Mods review patterns, variations, photos, videos and have the ability to remove comments, forum posts and messages in the chat

So to become a mod admin first has to see if you are super active, creating lots of patterns, and being really useful to the community. They the mods right now have to vote someone in to be a mod. If they decide to take you admin will ask you and you can say yes or no. So if you don’t want to you don’t have to 🙂

basically, you need to contribute a lot to the community in order to be considered as a moderator. if you post a lot of patterns and help people out in the forum, you will get noticed by the admin and the moderators, and they may put you on their list of potential moderators. then when they are ready to choose a new moderator, they have a vote. if you are interested in becoming one someday, you can say so in admin’s forum post in the community section, called “we are looking for new moderators❗️”. you can also recommend other people in the same forum post. hope that helps! 🙂

So, just out of curiosity, do I need to share my age to be a moderator? Because I would love to eventually become a moderator, but what if I don't want the whole website to know my age?

The administrators have to choose you to become a moderator. Usually 17+ years old..

@GenMalucci I don’t think so, you could just tell admin if he asks you if you want to be a moderator but just not put it in your profile
