How do you guys start and finish your bracelets? I am sort of struggling to figure out a way to start and finish mine! Any Suggestions?

Two triangle ends with either two ties or one tie and a loop sometimes I like to do a braided tie other times I do twisted ties. I also like to make them adjustable or at other times I prefer to tie the two ties together in a knot.

Mainly I tend to use a loop going into Triangle Ends. Shaped Starts are another I really like, and of course a simple straight edge.

I usually do two triangle ends and braided ties, but I also like to do a loop and a button or a loop and braided ties.

Also, if you do ties on each end of the bracelet you can make an adjustable knot so that you can easily take your bracelets on and off. I like to do this cause it makes wearing my bracelets more convenient. I think there are tutorials on YouTube if you want to learn how to make an adjustable knot.

it depends on the pattern. some patterns i like to start with a teardrop loop, some patterns i like to start with loop with one or two triangle ends coming from it, some patterns i just start with a triangle end, and some patterns i just tape down the strings and start knotting. to end them, i usually just make a triangle end and do twisted ties, braided ties, or a fishtail braid. hope that helps! 🙂

I do triangle ends and braids. If I can be bothered I do a adjustable closure.

I usually do plain triangle ends if the bracelet is under 20 strings, and a loop going into two triangle ends if the bracelet is over 20 strings. Masha Knots has a YouTube playlist called “Start & Finish” with videos in different ways to begin and end bracelets

I either do a teardrop loop, 2 triangle ends after a loop, 1 triangle end after a loop or a triangle end to start my bracelet and always do triangle ends and twisted ties to end my bracelets. 🙂

I usually do a triangle start (or just a teardrop loop for bracelets 14 strings and under) and then do a triangle end with twisted ties. This works really well because I play sports so I have to constantly take off my bracelets so now I can take them on and off without an issue! MashaKnots has all the tutorials for these techniques in her start and ends playlist on YouTube!

I am quite new to bracelet making so usually *depending on the pattern* just make my bracelets adjustable but more recently I have been making triangle ends 😄

i start with either a teardrop loop or a triangle end.... on when i end the bracelet i always do a triangle end.
