Wait so if moderators have to all be 17 plus but they all have jobs, couldn’t 14-16 year olds be on BraceletBook to moderate more?

Yeah I wish that could happen especially because it’s summer and people might say a 14 year old wouldn’t be mature enough or fair enough but that really isn’t true.

But some people are also saying that 12 years olds should be allowed to moderate photos and videos. Either way there are some 14-16 year olds out there that are mature enough to do the job and hat could really be helpful.

@2006_ Mandy I am 14 so underage but you really shouldn’t put maturity with ages it can hurt a lot of people. Also @Clairaland this is a great idea. I would love to be a moderator but am underaged as many people are.

Maturity goes up normally as you grow older and sometimes it’s not practical you cannot really hold a 12 year old accountable for their choices. Either way there would definetely have to be requirements but 14 is not too young although it does sound young I have seen so many 14 year olds on this site and app that are so dedicated to bracelets much more than some adults are. Especially @Clairaland and @KK4eva you two both are dedicated to what you do and know very well what you do, you’re also both extremely mature!

You are barely older and age doesn’t say how mature you are it does hurt how you are being ageist. You can hold any age accountable for their choices. @Hazel23 stop assuming things I’m not fully mature either! 12 year olds aren’t dumb they can be really smart. You go through a lot of changes around the age of 12/13 and it’s a lot. I never said 12 year olds are dumb no, you’re barely older than a 10 year old? I think not there is a difference. Some people will be more mature than others even at the age of 12 but how would the moderators be able to tell maturity based on the way people comment, etc? I’m pretty sure there’s a reason why moderators are 17+ and although it would be nice to have a 13 or 14 year old moderator it might not work. But also it’s harder for kids to not get caught up in arguments. I don’t want to argue I can tell you though that if we both were mature we would have never argued.

@Clairaland I agree I’m just upset that people argue so much and as much as I might somehow start an arguement I really wish braceletbook was a more friendly place which is why I believe that adding a moderator under the age of 17 wouldn’t work. I’m sorry if I offended anyone

@Hazel23 I’m sorry too I wish all people could understand that we all have our own opinions and that if we were truly mature we would move on like we did now. I wish you the best of luck in life too. Only a mature person knows how to own up to their mistakes and move on with positivity. Seems like your way nicer than I would have thought and way more mature than some kids I have meant.
