@Vsco_4Life I think it’s a wonderful idea, but the admin probably wants people closer to seventeen because it’s a website where anyone can submit photos, and if minors are exposed to lewd photos or patterns, it could cause some huge legal issues for him to deal with. I also think if there were to be “junior moderators” it should be 14 and up, looking back, I remember when i was twelve and thought I was mature, when I really wasn’t. There could also be many controversial topics someone who’s younger wouldn’t understand, and that could cause some issues. I’m not trying to shut down your idea, but please listen to the pint s

@andioopeth although I think this is a really good idea I don’t think anyone under 17 excluding one of our recent mods because people post inappropriate things and admin could get in lists of trouble with the law if anyone sees it. Really it has nothing to do with maturity anymore it’s the safety of minors

@Hazel23 a 17 year old is still considered a minor and could face the same problems as a 15 or 16 year old. There would for sure be a problem with photos because people can easily manipulate that but there are ways for older teens to help out. And yes keeping minors safe should be priority which is why I stated my opinion of 12/13 being way too young but saying that no 14-16 could help in easier ways like with variations or forum content is not true. The moderators will find a way to keep braceletbook safe some way. We just need to let them do their jobs and if the admin does start junior mods the he does. If it is possible they will find a way.

most of the comments are saying it’s a good idea, but it needs to be worked on because there are minor flaws, point blank. if we’re all trying to contribute with this idea, and make it actually possible to implement in the site, why try to shut them out? we’re trying to help make this idea real, but commenting “don’t comment at all” about valid points that needs to be brought up isn’t gonna help with getting more people on board. don’t get me wrong, i really like this idea. especially the one where someone said to have a jr mod be paired up with an actual mod as a mentor. but commenting “if you don’t agree, try your best to ignore” isnt the best thing to say.. of course have hope, like i said if the idea is worked on it could actually be really cool. but ignoring important information would just be foolish at this point. i don’t mean to be rude or sound mean but

I agree that there should be junior moderators, but duties should be limited due to the "lewd photos/comments/patterns" as someone else mentioned. I think that the Junior moderators could be responsible for judging variations, because the patterns have already been approved. There wouldn't be concern about seeing inappropriate patterns, since they would only be judging color changes.
