So I used "Benzoyl peroxide" for my acne and over night idk what happened but the next morning my face puffed up and now i look weird 😢 😤How do I fix this.....? 😄 |

Some skin types just can’t handle benzoyl peroxide, especially the topicals that have 10% or more... this exact thing happened to me and the only thing that didn’t make it worse was first aid beauty moisturizer (unscented) from ulta! I’m so sorry you’re going though this... I feel your pain my friend. Good luck!

The same exact thing happened to me a year ago!! It was horrible and soooo itchy and it hurt really bad 😰 my best advice is to stop using it right away and use very mild cleansers like cetaphil and wash with really cold water, this will sooth the pain and itchyness, and especially help with the swelling. And I know that you want to do everything to get rid of your acne but let your skin heal it’s self for at least a week before you try anything else that may be a bit harsh like, also anything natural with aloe Vera seemed to help my skin recover quickly. But even after that I had very bad acne even though I washed my face twice a day and ate really healthy and made sure my pillows were clean, and eventually I became very ill and found that my acne was related to some medical conditions that I didn’t know I had, I don’t know how bad your acne is, but it could be related to a medical problem like I had? All you have to do is go to your doctor and get a quick blood test, it’s really easy and I wish my parents would have taken me in sooner. @ilovequeen Thank you so much! ❤️ I had been rubbing ice on my face and it somewhat helped, and I think somewhat this week my mom might be taking me to get a blood test.

yes i agree with @ilobequeen use a very gentle cleanser i also love cetaphil i use it every night it’s my favorite cleanser and it’s super gentle on your skin!
