Yes, you are allowed to use other people's patterns in your YouTube videos. If you're not sure you can also always ask the creator of the pattern if it's alright for them if you make a video on their pattern but I can't imagine that many people would say no.

You should message the creator of that pattern permission to make a tutorial of their pattern. If you do and they say yes, you should always put the pattern number in the description of your video and say it's there so people can always find it and just so people know it's not yours. The creator of your pattern can actually copyright claim your video if you don't ask permission. If you have proof that you got permission from the person, you can screenshot your message and show YouTube if it gets claimed, then that can help you out in a legal case to help you get your video back up. Just be careful though, because if your video gets copyright claimed, it can lead to strikes. If you get too many, your channel may get deleted. I have heard this happened to @Kinsey_B .
