I am thinking about starting my Etsy shop. To any Etsy shop owners, I'd like some tips and ideas for my shop. I already have a name I just need logo ideas, patterns, cardboard holds, etc. Thank you guys! 😎 |

use pringle containers to hold bracelets, make sure your photos look good, don't post too much at once, try and open up to custom orders and advertise if you can.

I don’t have a shop, but I’ve been giving my bracelets to friends and family for a while now sooo... I really like just using a simple piece of cardstock to tie the bracelet to and then I’ll calligraphy some words at the top(if it’s for a special occasion) and/or write something like “handmade with love” at the bottom. It’s super simple and I think it’s a cute touch

you could pair bracelets with a simple braided bracelet of the same colours? and tie both to a piece of cardboard, that way you make your bracelets interesting since you can match them with a thin braided bracelet, but it wont cost too much extra effort to make a matching braid

I’m want to open a Etsy shop as well and some people were telling me that is you have a little surprise like a sticker, that it will leave a good impression on the buyer. Personally I’m goin g to make some homemade stickers. Also having a thank you note is a good idea as well. For mine I was going to print out a little peice of paper with my logo and ig, and other ways they can contact me and then a little thank you note.

For the patterns I would just make random bracelets that you want to do. For example I’m selling the bracelets/keychains that I’ve made. And for cardboard holds i have bought chipboard and written my Etsy name and then but in the bracelet.

I have opened an Etsy shop a couple of months ago and here is what I learned:1) Don't do custom orders on big bracelets. Maybe even don't do custom orders at all. (I only do custom orders on small chevrons, candystripes, and fishtails, since I know I can handle that) 2) Have a small stock of pre-made bracelets. (Just 5 should do. Put them all up once you start your shop, and then, aim to put one up on a schedule, I am for 1 up every Thursday and Sunday) 3) Fill out everything in your shop and listings. Especially your policies! (My friends didn't fill out her shop's policies, that made her listings not turn up in the search results, therefore making her shop have 0 sales) 4) Use SEO (Search Engine Optimation) Instead of a title like "Blue Chevron" You do "Blue Chevron Friendship Bracelet Anklet" You can even add more keywords if you want. If you have other questions, feel free to ask! 😄 |
