Hi so I’ve made bracelets for a while now I think the first time I ever made one was probably in 3rd or 4th grade and now I’m in my sophomore year of high school but I did take a large break in between for a couple years but I’ve gotten back into it and I’m thinking about selling some of my pins (I just make them onto safety pins) and my bracelets but I don’t exactly know where to start like what websites I could sell them on and how much I should sell them for so if anyone had any tips on how to start this it would be very helpful thank you 😊

I would recommend selling on Etsy or Instagram! I sell on both and I normally charge 50 cents per string and if that seems to high or too low you can change it if you want.

What my friend did to sell her friendship bracelets is she went around to small shops and boutiques in our town asking if they would like to sell her bracelets in their stores and that went pretty well for her, but she does have to pay the store owners a small percent of what she makes from when people buy the bracelets, this went a lot better for her than selling on Etsy or insta, plus she doesn’t have to pay for shipping costs, etc. but with all of this COVID stuff, not that many people even have small shops and boutiques open, so if I was you I would get started selling bracelets and pins online and then take the money you make from that to buy more materials, and then maybe eventually sell your pins and bracelets in shops as well as online 👍

I’m really considering starting like an Etsy shop maybe I also have a poshmark account so does anyone think it could be possible to sell them on there too? One of my biggest concerns is that I don’t really know too much about how shipping works and stuff and how to charge shipping or what to package it in I would like to use some stuff that I already have at home and one of my parents works at a postal place so I can get free bubble mailers and bags and stuff like that but I’m kind of nervous to bring it up to them Idk why I just feel like they’ll be against it but I guess I should talk it out with them eventually if I’m really thinking about doing this I am just really worried about shipping costs and stuff like that I don’t want to be spending more money than I’ll be making ya know?

I sell bracelets too and reuse my bubble mailers. I got a bunch of free ones on https://boxgiver.com. Hope that helps!
