Does DMC thread prices usually changeoften? For example I bought thread for .52 about 2 1/2 weeks ago and before that they were .72 and now they are .62 at my local store ( these prices are all at the same store) and I was wondering if that's normal for them now because where I used to buy their thread the price never changed. |

I get my DMC from either Michaels or Walmart. They're .62 each at Michaels and .53 each at Walmart. So it depends I guess, it's weird how your store changes the price often though. I also get thread from amazon so it's not dmc but it's still good 🙂

Honestly if you are looking to buy dmc thread and you need a lot of it, I highly recommend buying dmc cotton pearl. It’s 25 meters per skein and costs a little over a dollar. I saved a lot of money from buying a few of those! 2 skeins of regular dmc thread is only 16 meters, and 2 skeins of cotton pearl thread is 50 meters, which is quite a deal if you ask me. You pay like 60 cents more for thread that is 17 meters longer than the other one. Definitely a money saver 😁

@nev_m_07 Thanks, I've used it before and it wasn't my favorite for knotting. (it used to break a lot) but I might try it again. It may be a little different now as it was quite a few years ago I used it. 🙂

At michaels they are always 0.73 CAD for me
