Hi all! I've decided to start an Etsy shop! I have my parents permissions, so now i just gotta figure out the harder parts(after i become good enough to actually sell things ofc). I was wondering how much I should sell for? I want to have a section for pattern requests so pricing there would be the most helpful i think. Or just general advice for an Etsy shop! I've never sold any of the things I've made before(I currently draw, block print, and knit among other things). Thank you all!

Heads up If you have an esty shop and are under 18 your parents must be managing it for you under estys rules

Oh ok sorry. I think it’s a bummer though. I am perfectly mature enough and can easily run it on my own. Many people probably break this rule anyways but my parents work and they cannot run an Etsy for me which is a bummer because if the rule did not exist I would have a good Etsy account. Anyways I wish I could manage it myself because it would be fun. Please message me and I can send a photo of my pricing over on another platform if possible.

Also make your photos look awesome you want to pull in customers. Make like bundles, surprise bags, package your products neatly and make it original because packaging doesn’t simply need to be a envolope or plastic bag with the bracelet inside. Make sales or bundles like I said where you pair up some items and make more of your popular items. I would also suggest you try to make less things that most Etsy accounts have like chevron and candystripes and steer towards more unique and less common bracelet types. Hope this helps!

hmmm i think less than 15 strings should be 5-8 dollars? And bracelets with like 16-30 should be 10-12 dollars

@pspence thank you! i had a convo with my dad about a hamilton alpha i made which took probably 8-8 hours and we had wildly different prices
