I got one bracket taken off because either needed to put a spring to space my teeth out and it hurt when they took it off but I think it was my orthodontist fault because she was very slow at taking it off

They use pliers to snap the brackets off and then they scrape the tooth in order to get the excess glue and stuff off. My orthodontist had to take a bracket off on monday and move it to a different spot on my tooth and I literally hated the part where she scraped my tooth. It was the worst feeling 😖. It doesn’t hurt, but it is very uncomfortable 🙁. It might not bother you though. It just depends on your tooth sensitivity. 🙂

At my orthodontist they used dissolving glue so when they are ready to take them off they put this stuff on em to make the glue dissolve

So I got to the orthodontist, and then they tell me that one of my teeth is sticking out, bc for some reason they didn’t realize it earlier and now I have to wear them for another TWO MONTHS!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡😭😭😭😭😭

i just got mine off a week ago - i wish i could’ve responded to this earlier! the had to file down my ‘canines’ and it hurt since they’re sensitive. congratulations on your new smile haha

I just got my bottom braces yesterday and some more top braces, they hurt so bad. But I always think Advil will never help and it always does 😂 and I am going to hang out with a few friends at a pool and I took Advil this morning and I will take it before I go so hopefully it’ll help 😊
