So I’m going to get my braces off next week and I wanted to know how they take them off so I know what to expect. Also you can put anything braces related here👍🏼

There is a bit of pressure during the process, the last pain is minimal. The only thing I’d suggest is to listen to music or something with earbuds when they take the brackets off. The noise is kind of unsettling. Don’t be alarmed if your teeth feel loose, it’s just because you’re getting used to the pressure not being on your teeth

I don't know... it kind of felt like they were pulling the brackets off. But just don't worry, it doesn't hurt.

I’ve had them taken off before and I remember it didn’t hurt, but couldn’t remember how they did it. I just googled how do they take braces off and it answers your question.😊

@Firecorn don’t worry to much! I can’t say it won’t hurt 😕, but eating soft foods helps. Also take some ibuprofen for the soreness. After getting them on, when you get them adjusted, it doesn’t really hurt, it just feels tight

i got one taken off because it was loose but they like take them off with pliers and they use a drill to take off all of the cement the noise of the drill made me teeth hurt but there was some pressure too

The worst part is when they use a drill to remove the cement, it makes me kinda light headed and it’s a weird sensation but it doesn’t really hurt
