Has anyone ever tie dyed white thread before? I want to try it sometime. Do you just do it like you would tie dye anything else or do you do something else for it?Thanks! 😊 |

I’ve done it before, it was really fun, but instead of using the bottles, I would recommend painting the dye on with a brush, just so it dries lighter.

I take off the paper holders around the thread and split the thread in half. Then I tie dye some sections but you need paper towels near you because the dye spreads down the string. so I push down on the dyed area to soak up any extra dye. I let it set for a day or two and then rinse out the dye and let it dry. Hope this helps 😁
