Hi, I am realy mad when there is this patteren that I realy want to do, but there are too many strings so I was thinking I might try cross stich. If any of you cross stich, can you tell me how long it takes, how many skeems you would need ect. Thanks!!

It depends on the pattern and obviously how long you've been doing it. I find that cross-stitch takes longer though. Also, you split your strings generally so you can get like three times the length from one piece so skein wise you shouldn't need crazy amounts, a lot less than you would to make it a bracelet.

I tried cross-stitch a couple years ago, but I didn't have the patience for it. So I can't really say anything. But I'm sure a bracelet pattern would look really cool in cross-stitch form. Cool idea and good luck!

I did #14614 as a cross stitch and it turned out great! I used 2 skeins of stranded embroidery thread, using 2 strands each time. To work out how much aida cloth, find it's count per inch (14/16/18) then divide the dimensions

...of the pattern by that number, adding at least an extra inch all sides

I do some embroidery it would probably be a bit harder than cross stitch if you did want to do embroidery you would want a grid on your fabric that matches the pattern.
