one star ratings? (plz answer)

Hello and thanks for reading this if u r reading this! The situation is someone went under my profile and rated all my patterns one star (well actually one of them 2 but that is still bad) this all happened in the span of 5 minutes. I’m wondering has this happened to u? is this normal? why did this happen?( I mean I don’t think alllll my patterns r that bad) And what do the one star ratings mean... like the pattern is poorly made or it is bad to make? I have no connection with the person, in fact they joined around 5 days ago. I’m less concerned about the actual rating of my patterns and more about the fact that it woke me up at 4:30 in the morning...(I had my ringer off just my phone VIBRATED so many times it woke me up) also while ur here can u rate the deserving patterns a better rating than 2 stars 🥺 (maybe not alllllllll my patterns are worth 5 stars but I think at least a few r) |

@francesca5 ya maybe I honestly don’t know what I did and I checked my patterns for copy right... even on different websites. I didn’t even know the person who did it existed 😬

They might have just been expressing their opinion, but they also might have just made a mistake, especially if it was on a small smartphone, it can be difficult to press the correct button 😕 sorry that it happened!

Maybe they were a troll... you definitely did not deserve all those bad ratings. I went in and rated all your patterns, I hope I helped a bit 😊

if you think that it was a malicious offense, you can report them to @Admin, but unless they have directly been aggressive ( like messaging you after with harsh language, it’s happened to me before... ) they can’t really get reprimanded or banned...

this seems like a malicious offense though you can make sure by maybe messaging the user and asking them why they rated all your patterns 1 star. if it is malicious, report the user to admin. in the meantime, i’ll go ahead and help boost some of your pattern ratings up!

@beep33 I love your watermelon posicles pattern and the dinosaur one as well as the bee happy one. If you only had a few patterns it could have been a mistake. But you have so many if they have one star to them all they aren’t likely even looking at the pattern some people unfortunately only care about hating on others without even realizing it. And again I’m not a fan of all of your patterns but that okay their yours and unique and if I don’t like one that doesn’t change the fact that it is yours or that to get that many one stars is just hate don’t let anybody get to you. Report them (i would recommend doing so) and leave it their reviews don’t matter as long as you believe your patterns are great because people can still see your pattern and others may like it while other might not. i think a lot of people on this app experience this, and usually the person giving the patterns one star doesn’t seem to be doing it based on the quality of the pattern. if you look at the forum topic “replacing one star ratings” in site + app, admin says that he’s replacing the rating system soon

@beep33 first of all I would like to say your patterns are really cute 😊 . Second, I’m really sorry they got such bad ratings, it may have been a mistake and they didn’t intend to be mean, or maybe the person was just having a bad day and even though it is unfair they took out their anger on you. Maybe someone rated their patterns poorly? If they did just do it to be mean I’m not trying to justify their actions, just don’t let that get you down. I definitely don’t think your patterns deserve 1 Star, and it looks like many other people agree. Try to move forward and be positive. Spread kindness 💙 it’s a great way to show you are better than a few silly, bad ratings! Hope this helps💙💙

@aa7648 I messaged the person who did it and they said it was because they didn’t like my patterns and just rated more of them (new ones that just came out that weren’t there last time they did it) 1 star
