Does anybody know how to make a dog collar out of a friendship bracelet pattern?

No, but make sure it’s loose, and secure enough the dog doesn’t eat it!

Make it thicker if the dog is medium to larger size (I would recommend using alpha patterns) but even for a small dog use at least 10-15 base strings.

It would need to be on the thicker side

yes of course it would need to be wide/thicker but I would reccomend taking a collar that the dog wears and making your collar as wide as the colar is.

Ok thanks the collar he wears is pretty thin so I’m planning on making it a bit thicker

You could use the buckle thingy that most people use for paracord bracelets. You could do lark's head knots and then start the collar.

Or what I am going to do is start an alpha on a keychain that is wide enough and at the end making a knot and then tying the ends onto the keychain that way I can slip the collar on and off my dog and if I wanted to I could add a little charm to the keychain

I've been wanting to do this for a while now, too! I think you'd have to make sure you have VERY long strings, and it would need to be kinda fat to show through their fur, and last through the wear and tear of dog life

Yeah my dog usually has a lot of fur( we cut his hair recently) would a 24 string one be thick enough??
