Ok hey. I'm jessica or catminion. Ok so. My mom is Chinese but she is born in Winnipeg MB Canada. My dad is I guess "normal" he was born in Québec. Now when I was growing up I was always a bit chubby or I always had a little baby fat. So while growing up, no one teased me about it. But now that we moved to Ottawa, we FaceTime my grandma and grandpa cuz u know, FAMILY FTW! And then my grandma always talks to my mom in Chinese so they have their own language that I can't understand. And ever since we moved, my grandma keeps calling me fat and my mom does it sometimes too. My dad defends me by saying that I'm normal sized cuz I am. But now my bro sometimes calls me fat like once every 2months. But the whole thing is eating me up inside. I cry to sleep and I've been feeling a bit depressed but I'm feeling better now. Till this day, my grandma still teases me 😢. And it doesn't help cuz almost all the girls in my class are skinner than me. And it makes me feel insecure. Plz help. Next time someone calls me fat I was thinking about just ignoring them. Plz help. I feel super cruddy! 🙁

I've tried losing weight by like not eating snacks at school and eating half my sandwich instead of all of it. But it doesn't help. I don't wanna lose weight I just want people to LEAVE ME ALONE and stop talking about my insecurities! Now, most of the time I feel like hiding under my bed and never coming out! 🙁. Am I over reacting or is this just a phase? Or? Am I being crazy?! I really feel in a dark place and I was put there by my own grandma and (sometimes) my mom! I am grateful for my dad defending me. And my bro, well... He is as skinny as a hair. (He's 14 turning 15 in July). But yeah. That was my little rant/cry for help.

Your mom isn't being very nice to you I can see. I think she needs to respect that different people have different builds and shapes. ( not trying to offend anyone 🙂.) In my opinion you aren't overreacting. People used to make fun of me for years at school for my size. I understand it is hard to live with that. Please feel free to message me 🙂 I hope I can help 🙂

Yeah, I've always been chubby as a kid and now I'm still overweight... No one has ever directly teased me but I always feel insecure, but then I discovered this AMAZING singer named Colton Dixon (he's a Christian and I am too) and his music really encouraged me especially his song Never Gone which pretty much says that we're NEVER alone because Jesus is always with us and I realized that it doesn't matter what ANYONE thinks of me because I always have Jesus and He loves me. 🙂

My feet are sorta wide so it's hard to find shoes for my 6th grade grad that don't make me uncomfortable, either from judgement, the actual shoes or the self consciousness. If this guy is really worth having he won't care what your dress size is, he will think you are beautiful no matter what🙂 also it takes a REAL guy to look inside a girl and see her great personality🙂 this goes for every girl, even the supermodels.
