I like LOVE DMC floss. It just looks so much nicer than prism. Although its more expensive, I like it better. I converted for the better good 😉 😄

I usually use DMC, but my grandmother bought me a pack of prism for Christmas, and i haven't really noticed any difference

where i live, DMC is 89 cents a skein, so i usually get iris, its like 20 cents a skein, but i recently got a pack of 150 skeins of iris, so i think im pretty good for the next month.....

DMC floss is 50 cents a skein here in Canada. I like using craft thread when it comes to alphas depending on the size/design/etcetera and when I first try a pattern.

I use craft thread for stuff like variegated bracelets so you don't see the thread or knot with it....,it doesn't really affect the look of the bracelet....but I think craft thread shrinks your bracelet because it is "spun" and really thin, and also I can break it with my fingers really easily.

I like dmc, loops and threads, and prism. I usually buy a big pack of prism or loops and threads and then when I need extra colors I buy dmc. I tried Fairy and it breaks very easy.

My hobby lobby only carries iris thread. I buy the huge multi packs because they are better value.

DMC has nice colours and a nice finish and I used to be able to buy it in large packs then the store got prism and then loops and threads. So I buy that stuff generally. I have never had breakage problems except for with dollar store embroidery floss.

I use embroidery floss. I just bought a big pack of the Prism stuff and it's terrible. So now I hate Prism. Anyway, I'm not sure what brand I use, but most of it is the individual sold ones at Michaels.

I just bought a huge pack of Iris thread (but on the package it was Artiste) and it's my favorite along with DMC. But the DMC packs can be expensive.
