I'm trying to make a keychain for my friend, and one of my base strings and my leading string got into a knot somehow, and I can't get it out!!!

Usually when I get my strings knotted u use a needle, be careful and put the tip at the needle where your knot is and put the tip of the needle in the knot and pull it a little, if it starts to come loose keep pulling but if it’s not moving try to reposition the needle. Hope this helps 🙂

I do the same thing as @monica-_- but I use a toothpick! Some people use safety pins or there fingers but sometimes those options will fray your string! Good luck!

if it’s an easier knot to undo, i’ll use an embroidery needle because they aren’t as sharp so it damages the string less but if the knot just won’t come out, i’ll use a safety pin

I like using a stitch remover or like a Bobby pin

I always have a safety pin on hand - they can get knots out very easily, and secure my bracelets down while I knot!!

i use a safety pin and attach it to the hole in the top of my clipboard! if you’re careful, the string won’t fray when pulling out a knot : )

I use a skewer to get my knots out! Also you should watch Masha knots video called ‘fixing mistakes’

I use a pushpin, a carefully poke it through so I can pull the knots out. I like it better than using an embroidery needle, because it's less likely to slip out of your hands.

i bend the outer stick of the paper clip to where it looks like a safety pin. or you could use a safety pin or needle but you run the risk of poking yourself

With knots you have to be careful, and make sure not to pull it any tighter than it already is. You can use toothpicks, your fingers, or safety pins... or anything else small and pointy like a needle.

I use safety pins. What I found really helped was to turn the bracelet around. You could see that there are two "loops" around a string. If you pick at those "loops" it should loosen the knot.
